When individuals become incapacitated or die there are often significant problems in finding and gathering information necessary for both their immediate treatment and long term care and administration of their estates. Also for their family administration of domestic arrangements may be distressing when these arrangements are not easily identified.

OnePlaceSafe (‘OPS’) is an app providing a database tailored by the individual user for holding an individual’s personal and domestic data. This might include will and powers of attorney and information concerning real estate interests, financial details, medical status, insurances and domestic matters such as power supplier, vehicle information, memberships. Users can create
stores, known as ‘silos’, into which relevant data can be uploaded. There is a facility also to add notes online.

OPS would be of limited value if other selected parties did not have access to all or part of an individual’s data. These parties or ‘Nominees’ may include family members, trusted friends and professional advisers such as solicitors and accountants.
Nominees need not have access to all the data though that is possible if desired for a party; OPS provides that users can nominate a party to have access to specific items of information
only.
